Product Description

"Baianas" are always part of the parade of a samba school during Carnival. A woman born in the Brazilian state of Bahia is a "Baiana". At the end of the nineteenth century, some Baianas moved from Bahia to Rio de Janeiro, and played a major role in the birth of samba schools. That´s why they remain legendary and continue to be honoured during Brazil's most famous festival. This Baiana is delightful, happy and gorgeous. Inspired by Brazil, inspired by Australia.

Print of "Baiana", original oil dot painting by Flavia Julius. Our museum quality Giclée prints are very special. Apart from the fact that they are not 3D like the originals, they look just as colourful and bright. Printed on your choice of fine art paper or canvas, ready to be framed or stretched.

The price listed is for a 30x60 cm print, it´s possible to print it in a larger size. Please contact us  to discuss. The print will be delivered to you rolled.

If you choose a canvas print, it will come with a purple border around it, and will look amazing when stretched!
